Mount Dora Pediatrics is a private solo primary care pediatric practice. The practice staff include pediatrician Michael Baker, MD, office manager Roberta Knobb and nurse Shelley Creamer, LPN.
We are located at Donnelly Suites, 1502 North Donnelly Street, Suite 103 in Mount Dora, Florida (for directions, see map). Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Dr. Baker is available by phone after hours by simply calling the office phone number: 352-383-0624.
Who We Are
Mount Dora Pediatrics is a private practice and a member of Florida Physicians Medical Group (FPMG). FPMG is a multi-specialty physician group and a subsidiary of Adventist Health System. FPMG is a separate corporation from Florida Hospital. This separation allows us to serve patients’ needs more directly.

Well checks/physicals, vaccinations, childhood illness and minor injury, minor office procedures, after-hour phone consultation, newborn care, hospital admissions, developmental evaluations and screenings, assistance with school and learning issues, sub-specialty referral and free pre-natal visits.
About the Office Space
Our office can be described as ‘pediatrics meets Austin powers.” Our office opening coincided with the opening of IKEA, so we simply took advantage of the situation and made our office pediatric friendly for kids of all ages. The office also is decorated with framed cartoon art (a work still in progress). Scattered around are books for children of all ages. We prefer our children read (or be read to) as opposed to watching television.We have three exam rooms, one central waiting area, a playroom, an office/parent conference area and patient bathroom (with diaper changing station). The staff maintains medical handouts which also can be obtained at this website.The office is child proofed and handicap accessible.
